Regulatory Intelligence and Symposium Manager

Our client, non-profit, non-political organisation which seeks to advance the status of the regulatory profession through education and provision of information to its members. Their current membership is global, and members worldwide are actively involved in delivering the services needed by busy regulatory specialists. Members are drawn from industry, regulatory agencies and the consultancy community, and work in all sectors including medical technologies, biotech, borderline products and pharmaceuticals.

Services provided by our client includes, training, events, information services and networking, regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical industry, veterinary industry, medical devices industry, medical devices, and healthcare.

THE ROLE: Regulatory Intelligence and Symposium Manager

Role Purpose:

To drive the content and subject matter and delivery of the program for high-level conference and thought leadership programmes. Working with senior level contacts in industry and EU Health Authorities, the Board, office staff and the external regulatory environment.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE; QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A first degree in a science subject Evidence of a programme of continuing professional development Educational qualifications in Regulatory Affairs with demonstrable involvement/experience in the delivery of Regulatory Affairs Intelligence, education and possibly training programmes Any business qualifications would be an advantage

Experience Required

At least 2 years’ Regulatory experience, primarily European, covering both national and international roles. This experience should ideally cover the three main regulatory areas of quality, safety and efficacy.

Knowledge Required

A demonstration of a thorough understanding of the current regulatory issues is essential. A thorough knowledge of European regulatory procedures and a working knowledge of US and Japan.
