The role will be hybrid working and will be based at their new head office is a purpose-built factory with a further seven satellite facilities in proximity, each offering cellular manufacturing and QA support. Their comprehensive machine capability enables core parts to be manufactured complete with maximum efficiency in dedicated areas adopting lean manufacturing principles. Manufacturing is primarily small to medium batch work.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role is part of the leadership level of the business and reports to the Managing Director.
Main Purpose of Job:
The Engineering Director will have both strategic, technical and operational responsibilities, including providing expert engineering guidance in the Company, managing engineering projects and being involved with developing new products/methods for the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert engineering guidance within the Company in areas such as manufacturing and inspection. Owning the production life cycle from drawings receipt to part delivery, in accordance with relevant specifications.
