Interim Operations Manager
Salary: Competitive day rate

Our client is a manufacturer of ready meals and handmade buffet items for the foodservice sector. Today they produce over 300 different product lines at their factory using the finest ingredients sourced from all over the world.

With a focussed development process led by an experienced and strong development team, they carry out extensive market research and product benchmarking. In turn, this allows them to produce a comprehensive product range that offers both excellent quality and value for money and secures their ongoing position in the market.

As their commitment to growth and continued customer satisfaction is steadfast, they have identified a requirement to appoint an Interim Operations Manager. 

The Interim Operations Manager will work with SMT, reviewing the current processes and procedures in place across the operation to include manufacturing, warehouse, transport and maintenance. As a people driven man-manager, they will be able to get ‘under the skin’ of the operation, understand the areas that are working well and those which could benefit from potential enhancements.

The successful applicant will have an operational interim background within food manufacturing, will have experience of performing deep dive operational reviews and working closely alongside the board, assisting with executing operational enhancements as agreed.
