Sales Director – ‘Engineered Capital Equipment’
Salary: Circa £70K base salary + bonus + benefits - with flexibility

The Company & Requirement

Our client is a UK subsidiary of a large international manufacturing & distribution engineering business. The company distributes large engineered capital equipment products to a wide range of customers. Based in the South Midlands/Northern Home Counties area, the business is looking to recruit a Sales Director to run their UK distribution focused business. This hands-on role will entail a significant proportion of the Sales Director’s time being spent on driving forwards sales, improving customer relationships and enhancing general positive growth within the UK market.

This fantastic career opportunity presents the individual with the potential chance to become Managing Director of this UK company within 18 months, based upon successful performance. 

Expertise Needed:

• A proven track record in senior Sales Managerial or Sales Director roles within engineering capital equipment orientated distributor/manufacturer companies i.e. the role will suit ‘a Sales Director with a technical/engineering mindset’
• Must have an appreciation of how to run a business from a commercial perspective as the Sales Director will have responsibilities for the UK P&L, so general managerial expertise would be a nice to have  
• A strategic business thinker
• Sales team management experience is a must
• Gravitas & Leadership qualities – a strong character
