Our client is a well-established and privately-owned company with manufacturing operations across the South of England. Following a recent acquisition, they are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join the team with the objective of growing sales. For this individual it is expected that on the achievement of set objectives, you will have the opportunity to progress to the position of Sales Director.
This is a leadership role that will report to the Managing Director. In addition, there will be both a personal and team responsibility for achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising the potential of the internal sales team and network of agents, creating sales plans and justifying those to plans to the senior management. You will lead by example and ensure objectives are pursued enthusiastically and achieved consistently. Working with the senior management team you will contribute across all areas of the business to keep the company competitive and innovative.
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager with a successful track record in achieving sales and sales management targets. This is likely to have been achieved within a B2B environment and with a product rather than a service.
