SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – THE ROLE

OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the commercial management and control ensuring risk, commercial targets and ethics are achieved. Working in collaboration with the project team, they are responsible for the line management of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors and work in direct collaboration with the Commercial Manager.

The achievement of procurement, effective sub-contract management and associated commercial activities is fundamental to allow time, cost, quality, and profitable delivery parameters to be achieved and reported.

Experience and Person Specification

  • Experience of working as an established and proven Quantity Surveyor General Contracting experience will be valuable or experience of working with a specialist sub-contractor such as fit-out, facades or concrete frames  Excellent knowledge of building, material components, Building Regulations and H&S Management skills – programming, planning, compiling reports
