The Role
There now exists an opportunity for an individual to take the role of Managing Director and build the business further over the long term.
The Managing Director will take overall responsibility for the performance and success of the business. With a focus on ensuring the business continues to do what it excels at, the role will also take them into new markets particularly energy and other infrastructure sectors.
Working with group functions, the ideal individual will set and deliver the strategic plan for the business over the medium to long term.
Skills / Abilities /Experience
The new Manging Director will bring significant experience of civil engineering. Most likely they will have come from a senior leadership team position – Operations, Commercial, Financial, Technical etc, although the ideal candidate will have demonstrable success in a number of disciplines.
Naturally, the new Managing Director will be a proven leader – both business/business unit, and of people, and will be able to show many examples of business growth and improvement.
An understanding of the Energy marketplace would be a distinct benefit.
