Company & Role:

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy in the UK that has an expanding and highly successful Highways Engineering department. Due to continued investment, growth and development, the business is looking to appoint a suitably experienced Highways Engineering Director in England to develop and grow their work with National Highways, Local Authorities, Municipal Authorities and Highways Contractors.

The Director could be based anywhere in England to do this job. The Director will be a senior Highways and Transportation leader with an established English market network who can open doors, secure framework positions, leverage the practice’s existing and successful market track record, to accelerate growth across England. The company is looking for the individual most capable of accelerating their entry into the English highways market.

Expertise Required:

To be suitable for this role, you will have:

Significant senior experience within the English highways sector.
Proven track record of winning and growing highways-related business.
Established network across National Highways, local authorities, combined authorities, major contractors and infrastructure clients.
Demonstrable success securing frameworks and converting relationships into sustainable fee income.
Experience leading and growing multidisciplinary consultancy teams.
Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Transport Planning Professional (TPP), or equivalent professional qualification status.
