UK Sales Director, LX Hausys Europe

The Client

LX Hausys is a global manufacturer of premium building and decorative materials, forming part of the LX Holdings Corporation. Renowned for innovation, design-led solutions and technical excellence, the business has a strong international footprint and a growing presence across Europe. In the UK, LX Hausys is particularly well known for its HFLOR luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, serving commercial, residential and public-sector markets through established distribution and channel partnerships.

With ambitious growth plans and continued investment in the European market, the business required experienced leadership to accelerate UK performance and strengthen its market position.

The Requirement

LX Hausys sought to appoint a UK Sales Director to take ownership of its flooring business, driving profitable growth while deepening relationships with key national partners and channel accounts. The role demanded more than sales leadership alone. The successful individual needed strong commercial judgement, deep knowledge of the UK flooring market, and the credibility to engage at senior customer level.

Key priorities included developing existing strategic accounts, identifying new routes to market, increasing brand visibility, and ensuring sales activity aligned with wider European strategy. Given the autonomy of the role, cultural fit and leadership style were as important as technical capability.

The Solution

Novo Exec worked closely with the European leadership team to build a clear understanding of the UK business, its growth ambitions, and the leadership profile required. We designed a focused search targeting senior flooring professionals with proven success in LVT and high-end flooring environments, including individuals with experience at market-leading brands.

The Outcome

LX Hausys successfully appointed a UK Sales Director with a strong track record in luxury flooring and a deep understanding of the UK market landscape. The individual brought energy, commercial focus and a collaborative leadership style, quickly establishing credibility with key customers and internal stakeholders.

The appointment has strengthened LX Hausys’ UK presence, supported new business development, and positioned the business for sustained growth. It also provided the senior leadership capability required to translate innovation and product excellence into consistent commercial performance.
